And now... episode bloopers from Katie "The Continuity Queen"

1. Oh, Billy took down his fish from behind his desk. I wonder why. Trophy seems to be missing too. Interior decorator make a swing through? Or I know, Congresswoman Faber thought it too costly for them to have art.

2. See her look around room when Billy mentions that Lee has either worked or dated all of these women? She’s probably thinking to herself: all of them?

3. Books? Books, I have 4 of them. Love the look he has when Fran first suggests splitting the one up to Fran's look of amazement to his look at Amanda. At this point in their relationship I think he is a bit embarrassed she had to find out he plays the women that much. He knows she knows he was a player, but it was never verbally spoken about. This just made it real for both. Why is she going home? I thought they were gonna meet after lunch to go through the books. Can’t she find some busy work till then? It can't be more than a couple of hours. Seems a waste to go back and forth.

4. Shouldn’t she learn Russian first then the codes? How is she ever supposed to understand herself if all she learns is jumbled up words that don't mean anything? Dottie, sure Amanda. What ever you say. The pregnant sow lost her piglets. I don't think she even bought her own cover. Wonder if that's what it really says. Anyone?

5. Is this a different Vette? I am so bad at recognizing cars. I don't remember his as convertible, but I may be wrong. Thought I'd check.

6. I don't understand Paul’s paranoia. If he doesn't want to catch the Russian welcome wagon all he has to do is avoid them. He obviously knows what they look like. And if they are right there as Lee implies why, if he's so paranoid, does he take off his disguise? They’ll know what he looks like now.

7. Geez Paul. That’s cold. She knew the risks. Weren’t you lovers? Or at least wanna-be-lovers? You not feel anything from her death?

8. Ok. What was paxed? I know something was. It looked like Fran and Amanda were about to say something to Lee in the hall after Paul says the wizard has not lost all of his magic. I know the scene just didn't end like that. C’mon Pax. Can’t you just every once in awhile surprise us and put a cut back in? Huh? Please. We’re good little watchers. We watch tbaa and dm. Please.

9. Ok, Serdayich's hand comes from upstairs right? That means that both Cheryl and him were upstairs at the same time. How come she didn't see/hear him? And how come he just didn't make his move upstairs? Why did he wait until she came downstairs? How did he kill her that she can still walk a few steps? Better yet how did he get to his car across the street without passing Amanda in the doorway? Even if she has a back door the condos all looked like they were attached. He’d have to go around the block. Not enough time to kill her and get to car before Amanda gets to door. Remember we see Amanda pull up and he is just then killing her. Tick tock time guy.

10. Don’t you just feel so bad for him this whole ep? Some parts you just want to cry for him. He’s losing friends left and right. He is practically begging her to go home so he knows that she will at least be safe. She knows not to argue with that tone.

11. How this family does not know she is a spy I'll never know. The boys are listening to agency training tapes on how to create diversions, in Russian no less. How come bloody is bloody in Russian? Just one of those words that doesn't translate? Think she needs a new tape player? If it makes that sound every time it rewinds, I think it is. They are getting so good at the window tap. He barely taps, but she still hears it over the tape rewind.

12. This part especially when I say I almost cry for him. His face is so desperate for her to confirm his sighting and so distraught when she doesn't. Nice picture of him. Love the smile. Love his sneak out when Dottie comes. Wonder why he doesn't come back? If not to finish the conversation than at least for the picture. Always like how she tucks the picture in her back pocket just before Dottie comes out. So sneaky. And good cover. Watch her eyes as she is thinking it up. The warthog wants more caviar. LOL Fast thinker. After all, it goes with the pregnant sow. Keep it down or we'll have the same problem with the neighbors. I doubt it, unless they are spies too. Must be magic ink on the back of the picture. As she holds it during the scene, several times you can see the back and... nothing. Yet, when she turns it over, magically the words “Lee- Oz never had it so good! Dorothy” appear. Love how she studies the picture before turning it over. Almost as if she is trying to discern their relationship from the images themselves.

13. Explain please. Is Dorothy her name, her code name, or both? She signs and is referred to as Dorothy always, nothing else. Lee is Scarecrow, but Dorothy called him Lee (on photo). Paul is the Wizard, but is called Paul. So either she was made for this network or never told them her real name.

14. Really? He’s stressed? Geez Phaff, you are amazing. We never would have picked up that stress without you there. Thanks for that in-depth analysis. Just how much are you making anyway?

15. How about a wee bit of trivia? I'll put the answer somewhere in the 4 C.Q. posts. What is the file name for the Oz network? Hint: It has someone's initials in it. She is turning into such the little sneak. Love how she breaks into the higher clearance files here. The swipe and the swing of the card around the neck. Good spy. Always love the '80's computer voice. Gotta laugh every time. Great security this guy is. It takes him like 5 minutes just to pinpoint where the beeping is coming from and he's still not sure when he gets there it was even coming from there. Good thing none of the little spies turn bad and borrow someone else's card.

16. Wow does he play angry well! Love that fight scene in the hallway. Isn’t it so sweet how he asks her if they can talk? Bit harsh, but it would be hard to come down that fast from that level of emotion. I think she understands that. Guess he mustn't need those papers he confronted Paul with. They’re still scattered in the hallway by the elevator.

17. How did Serdayich set it up for her to be on that bus? How’d they know he and Amanda would be 1. going for a walk and 2. walking that way? Seems awfully coincidental to me.

18. Restaurant scene. Yeah. How long have we known each other? Love how she pretends to not be sure. Oh… I don't know… 2 years? Really love how he knows exactly how long they've known each other? 25 months. And 2 weeks. Love both of their smiles at that. Yeah, just friends. Sure. Uh huh. Another part where I just wanna cry for the guy. As he describes her death you can see (literally) that he is reliving it, every little detail of it. So sad. Oops. Busted. It’s ok, you're still in training. Just keep in mind next time if you learn something you’re not supposed to, you gotta keep it a secret until someone tells you. I realize the age thing was a small slip but you are dealing with the top agent. Even through his fog of emotions he can and will pick up on those things. Love her “oh” when he calls her on the knowledge. The part when she is telling him he's not a super man, but a pretty special man... doesn't that just give you a warm fuzzy right here? Must be really nice to hear too. And his return for her, it’s important to me that you care. Friends. Uh huh. Sure. Whatever you say.

19. I really wish we could've heard Paul’s reasoning behind his code name. Think he knows the reason and just isn't sharing? Kinda sounds like he doesn't know it either. Barn or ca? How about a fanfic title. I know there are a couple out there with the reasoning mentioned.

20. Is that sound military tactic? To start shooting without any cover? For Toto’s sake they are out in the middle of the tarmac. Who could miss them? Love the scene when she dies (artistically, not the death). It’s so quiet, no words, just the soft music playing in the back. Brb, need some Kleenex.

21. There is just so much hand holding in this one. I like it. At the car, he grabs her one hand, she looks at it surprised, but then he grabs the other and she smiles. Too cute. But, oh! Why did you have to say that? Why did you have to say maybe she's in your head? Of all the things and ways to say it, why that way? His face just drops when she says that. Here he is trusting her with some deep emotions and memories and she just about calls him nuts. She just washed away a 1000 years of trust in one sentence. I know it appears he forgives her and understand why she says it, but he is playing her with that. He sees her concern in her eyes so he makes it appear he understands, but he is just formulating how he can get Phaff to talk about Paul. Maybe that's why it’s so hard for him later in U.B. to trust her. Mho

22. So, just how interesting is his butterfly answer on that ink spot? Anyone know Rorshack (definitely spelled wrong) tests?

23. Tutti-frutti. Someone definitely liked that flavor of ice cream.

24. Can her eyes get any bigger in the rearview mirror? Good thing she can recognize the sound of an automatic clicking. Very impressed that she is nowhere to be seen after he fires. Spy training is really paying off. Now if she'd just use common sense to check the back seat before getting in. How do you think she explains this to her mom? It’d be more than just the glass. You can see the mirror swinging and I’m sure the frame was damaged too. Poor car.

25. How does she get to the agency? I doubt she drove her car there and her purse was in the car too. I hope she had money in her pocket for a cab. Good try on the vodka. Would have been funny to have seen her gulp a shot down. Could you imagine Lee's face? LOL Actually would have loved to have seen his reaction when she came bursting in with this. He jumped when she was kidnapped (whip cream), he probably went through the roof at this. Shouldn’t the fact that she knows the masks are identical be a red flag to Billy? He would know the file is top clearance only and that she doesn't have that. Just how does she know they are identical? Gotta admit the scenario does fit a burnout. And you'd think they'd be hypersensitive to those with the recent case just wrapped up. Love the hand held out for hers and in front of Fran no less.

26. How does Serdayich get Lee's psyche file to plant in Paul’s room? Why do they have the windshield wipers going if they are just sitting there? What is that thing he hits Lee with? Just some questions that needed to be asked.

27. Bad bulletproof vest. I mean good to protect our spy boy. But very bad for covering up that perfect dolphin chest at this moment. Couldn’t we have come in a minute sooner? I mean geez. This tiny peek is good, but we need way more. Does show off the general condition, no lumps or paunchiness there. Guess we'll just have to use our imagination girls. Like that'll be a first.

28. Love the smile when he listens to Amanda’s message. What is this toy soldier thing he is playing with? He reverting back to his childhood? It some famous battle he's fascinated with?

29. Boy Amanda. You better control that talking in your sleep thing. That’s not good for a spy to be doing. What if you said something damaging or revealing? Or to someone other than the boys?

30. Why does Lee get dressed at the airport? If the bad guy was watching he'd know that he has a shotgun under his jacket and a gun in his belt. And oh btw… black leather jacket. Need I say more girls? SV, did you get that shot for our wall?

31. She mustn't have been in all that big of a hurry. She changes clothes. His phone tapped? How’d the agency have a log of his messages? Does that mean hers is on there too? And is it tapped all the time? Not very private. That could be dangerous for them later. Why does she need clearance to leave a message? The bad guys have direct access, but she can't leave a message from inside. Great system. It must be new. She acts like this is the first time she's run across it.

32. Whoa there hop-along. Something is different with the art in the Q-B. Anyone? The picture behind the desk was and will be again a portrait of an indian wrapped in a blanket. Apparently today only, it needed to be of a colonial father. Btw… the file number is 4428-BB. Cool huh?

33. Love Billy’s reaction to the message being sent by Fran when she is right there. How did Amanda get your clearance? Poor Fran. She has the he's-gonna-shoot-me look about her. Amanda probably gets a bit of the Fran treatment when they get back. Can you imagine the wrath? LOL Let's face it, give Amanda the opportunity and she will stretch it to the nth degree.

34. Does Lee believe what he and Paul are shouting about? Or is he just playing along to flush Serdayich out?

35. Lee is supposed to have the shotgun on his back still right? Then how come we can't see it or the ammo holster during the fight scene? And just how does he get the shotgun from the holster so fast, from under the black leather (mmmm) jacket? Guess his days on the westerns paid off.

36. So does Lee recognize Serdayich? He was on the Oz network. Or was he with the Russians from before Lee joined the team?

37. Ok, let's just leave the bad puns to Lee ok. You just stick to saving him.

38. These tags just get progressively better and better. Love the hand brush up his arm. Like the music each time something sweet happens in this ep. Now you know that him giving her the roses is big. Watch both of their faces as he presents them to her. He watches hers for the realization and implication and smiles when she reacts. So very meaningful, so very powerful. Kiss ain't bad neither.

Special thanks to Katie for all of the time and hard work she has put into these Continuity Queen posts!

The Song You Hear Playing

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Elton John

When are you gonna come down
When are you going to land
I should have stayed on the farm
I should have listened to my old man

You know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
This boy's too young to be singing the blues

So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Huting the horny back toad
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road

What do you think you'll do then
I bet that'll shoot down your plane
It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again

Maybe you'll get a replacement
There's plenty like me to be found
Mongrels who ain't got a penny
Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground
