1. Really like all the little extras we get in this ep. Like the black and white film for the flashbacks and the star effect on the lights in the flashbacks. This director really knew how to make an impact. I'll have to remember to go back and look to see who that was. *Wink, wink*

2. My isn't Matthew debonair? He looks so good with the mustache, the hat and trench coat. No wonder Jennifer falls for him. My, my, my.

3. Lee is still on the brink about how much to trust her with. You can see the hurt in her eyes when he pushes her out the door. How she looks at the door after it's shut. She’s probably a bit confused too. Only a second ago he was ready to ditch with her and then one little envelope comes and suddenly it's good-bye. But she lets him have his space… for now.

4. Freeze frame moment. Jennifer’s field report says she's an MI-6 agent (top of report). Why wouldn't she be the same as Matthew? He recruited her and he was an army major in military intelligence. When Lee recruited Amanda she didn't become CIA, she became agency.

5. Straightening the desk. Uh huh. Sure. You are such a snoop. Just admit it.

6. It’s 4th season now. It's time for Lee to move again. Catch the new digs? Among other ways to tell it’s a new place is no French doors to the bedroom, just the dining room. I wonder when he had the time, just finishing with the Stemwinder fiasco and all.

7. Lee must have been exhausted after Stem (assuming aired order and you just watched it yesterday). He takes at least 2 naps that we see and it’s the same day. Poor baby. Love how he cuddles with his parent's picture. And isn't little Lee so cute?

8. Me again. Amanda. Like he wouldn't recognize her voice. He so wants to confide in her. He almost picks up the phone to talk, but hesitates and she hangs up. She did wait a second before hanging up too. He just hesitated too long.

9. What’s with the ugly bag/purse? Could you get one that's bigger? Like that she has her own lock pick case. Wanna bet it was a gift from Lee. Fanfic anyone? Just to feel him she touches his jacket. She knows he's here, why doesn't he answer. Tip-toeing into the bedroom she sees he's asleep and whispers his name. Lee. No response. She leans down over him, checking to make sure he's alright. Whispering his name again this time getting a very unsuspected response. Flipping her on her back and leaning over her he just then registers who is in his apartment. Amanda? Scared and confused by his reaction she answers a wavering yes. What are you doing here? Still confused by her presence.

10. …. Lock pick. Standard issue. What? You picked my lock? Well, we're gonna have to do something about that. You know, that could have a double meaning. 1. Tighten up the security 2. Giving her a key. One can read it both ways. Hmmm….

11. This is something that is very personal. Can’t you just leave it at that? Not realizing who or what he is asking. No. When someone I care about hurts, I hurt too. Hoping he understands. Searching her eyes for confirmation of her truth he accepts her offer. I’ve never told anyone. I never leaned on anyone, even when I needed to. You can lean on me; I’m a lot stronger than I look. Finally realizing what he means to her and what lengths she will go for him, he offers to take her on a walk.

12. You really want to help me? Grabbing her, challenging her. That’s a pretty silly question. She answers moving closer into his embrace. Then, you're really gonna have to trust me. Like that will be a big jump for her. Esp after Stem.

13. Lee says "Who's gonna know?" as they argue about swiping the drug. Wouldn’t the doc know? At least eventually. If it’s a controlled drug under lock and key wouldn't he have to log its use and notice its disappearance? It wouldn't be hard to put 2 and 2 together. He knows Amanda was in there. She is his partner. I don't remember from the Paxed scene if the doc ever sees Lee or not. Btw, that scene is hilarious. Amanda gets the doc to explain how aspirin works. The doc goes into the fully technical mode. Amanda has her arms waving to Lee, totally hilarious.

14. Love the argument scene by the elevator. She sure can hold her own against Lee. She had a come back for every point he brought up. Yet, when confronted by an outsider (Billy in this case), they team up and cover for each other. What a team. 15. Who else froze the screen on Matthew’s file when he looked at it outside Langley? Come on, I know some of you do it too. Admit it. Anyway… notice the family history? It said, and I quote "father deceased, mother retired, 1 brother USAF assigned to Berlin." unquote. One question, if Lee's grandmother is still alive why didn't she take him? Other question... the brother. That says to me it's the Col. we know from Relative Situation. He’s in the army. Natural assumption I think. The question still begs to be asked... why the last name difference?

16. More teamwork. She has always been good at picking up his line. From the 2nd ep she has been able to read him (in office of Bobby Beaushard, her being a lovely lady spy). Nice pick up. Yeah, I'll probably be sorry I did that.

17. Seeing Lee must be like seeing history step out of the shadows for Blackthorn. What do you think Lee was hoping to accomplish by talking to him? That he'd just admit to lying, stealing and treason?

18. Think the office chew out is the next day? Cause they both changed clothes. Catch the sly little move? As Billy is yelling at them they first appear about a foot or so apart. We look at Billy for a second and then come back. Now they are mere inches apart and she's even slightly in front of him. Magic? Do me a favor. Go away for awhile. Yeah sure. Throwing an evil eye as he leaves.

19. If I start to convulse… please don't do that. Yeah. I'm with her, don't do that. I wouldn't have any idea how to help you. Do you know who I am? With the biggest of smiles and memories dancing in his mind he answers what has to be the most romantic 2 words ever... my Amanda. If that doesn't say it all no word will ever be created to say it. Do you have time for just one more quest... never mind. Oh, don't do that. What was that question going to be? You are just lucky there are many fanfics that attempt to answer that.

20. I'm assuming one of the 2 of them looked up his old addy before coming over. I'm sorry, but there is no way he remembered the addy. He was 5 when he last lived here and that was 30 years ago and he's lived in 100s of different places in those years. While I may remember the house I lived in when I was 5 I certainly couldn't have told you where it was w/o mom and dad showing it to us later. I remember it was by a park, and that it was pink. Nothing about the addy. I don't think Lee could have done any better.

21. Recognizing the concern in her tone as she calls him he reassures her. I'm alright, alright. Not convinced she wraps her arm around his waist and clenches his arm with her other arm. She isn't letting him go for anything.

22. Great security these people practice. He only has to pick the bottom lock. The padlock isn't even bolted.

23. More great things by this director (Gotta remember to go back and look). Love the sounds mixed in with his flashbacks, the voices, the images all combining and tumbling over each other. Also really like how Jen's voice folds into Amanda’s and Amanda’s into Jen's. Creates an air of confusion for Lee. His past blending with his present.

24. Good thing he carries an exacto knife everywhere he goes. And how does he suddenly remember the door well enough to cut the floor in just the right spot and size?

25. Oops. Well, it all can't be perfect. Always find the repeat line funny. Wonder why it wasn't reshot? As she is coming down the ladder he says, "Here you are, careful." twice. I'm sure the first time was the flub and second time was the correct position for the line. Isn’t his little sheepish smile when he takes the pipe the cutest? 26. Amanda’s voice folding into Jen's, just makes it all the more poignant. Really big step for him to ask her to read it to him too. She understands that too, by asking if he's sure. I'm writing it all down, lest I forget. I like how that sounds… lest I forget. So proper. Kudos to who ever thought of having his parents meet in the same manner. Very cool way of bringing them into his life, showing him he is apart of them. Still like our time couple's pleading eye scene better. ... the window of my basement flat... a wave of realization hitting him. That’s how they met? Really? The same way? Wow! Um.. Amanda? Could you hold up the family tree for us? We have some questions. Like where does the Col. fit in. Thanks.

27. Wow, can he throw the evil glare or what. Glad I'm not Billy. That’s twice in 2 days.

28. Faster than a speeding bullet… it's super couple. They go from sitting in the Q.B. with Billy telling them to stop the research to walking in the main concourse just then reacting to what was said then… well, we tried. We’re not finished yet. Yeah, I know (she knows him so well). Lee is giving away more and more of his super powers each day. Anyone know what the Pitman (?) shorthand is? Is it real?

29. Do you think the sweater tied around his neck is supposed to make him look tough? What kind of self-respecting vigilante would go the preppy look? I bet once the other prisoners here of this he's toast.

30. Maybe Lee hasn't given away all of his super powers. After he spots the shooter you can see him walk into the plaza. In the amount of time it takes the preppy shooter to dismantle the gun he appears. That means he went from inside the plaza, crossed the street and ran up at least 5 flights of stairs to the roof. And he's not even winded. Amazing, simply amazing.

31. Does Lee recognize the shooter? The rest of his flashbacks have been triggered by a sound or a sight. What triggered this one? And how did he make the jump to Blackthorn just by looking at the shooter?

32. Apparently Lee isn't the only one to leave his keys in the iggy. Bad guys do it too. Amanda takes the bad guys car; you can hear Fran yelling that she has to impound the car as she drives away.

33. Ain’t he just the little monkey boy, taking that gate in like 4 moves? And then Amanda comes along and just looks at it saying you've got to be kidding. To finding a simpler way just by looking around. That about sums up the whole show premise doesn't it? He is action first. She is attention detailed.

34. Woozier can BB act! That scene in Blackthorn's office is so intense. You can see Lee's desperation in his eyes and his heart. He is willing to do or say anything to get his answers… I lied. He said with steely coldness in his eyes. I wonder what Amanda is thinking listening to this exchange? Good thing she's there too. With the drug still affecting him he phases out. Blackthorn seizing the opportunity pulls a gun. At the same time Amanda realizes the situation and grabs the first thing within reach. She sends the plate hurling, hoping it will be enough. With automatic reflexes he fires, trusting both his instincts and his unseen Amanda. Btw, love the recoil from the shot, slow mo, papers fluttering down. Very cool effect. Running to his side, he switches the gun to his other hand and pulls her into his side. Needing the contact... the monster has a face. The nightmare over, he leans on her for support.

35. Again showing how well she knows him she appears at the gravesite. Knowing his usual need to deal with his emotions in private she turns to go. Surprising her and maybe even himself … no. Don’t go. I sure wish you'd known them. I think I do. At first questioning her, then understanding he smiles and hugs her.
