Amanda is a prime suspect in a major security leak at the Agency. Lee is assigned to investigate Amanda and is shocked that anyone would suspect her of any wrongdoing. But some planted evidence points to her being a Czechoslovakian spy. She also showed up by accident with her date at a restaurant where a defector was shot down. Amanda is the one who eventually figures out that the real traitor is Margaret, the secretary of Lee and Billy’s superior. Margaret has planned that, as soon as the third Spiderweb defector is killed that Amanda should either be killed or "commit suicide". Amanda is sent to meet General Kurragen, the third defector, and get him safely to the agency, while Lee impersonates the General in a setup. Margaret is arrested.
