Two foreign news correspondents are on assignment in Central America and are believed to have been killed. The two reporters are engaged to be married. One of them, Colleen Donnelly, makes it out alive. She believes her fiance, Bart Stoller, is also still alive and is being hidden in Washington until he can testify against a diplomat in a Senate subcommittee hearing. Amanda and Lee use the agency sailboat called the Mati Hari II to go undercover looking for Bart. They believe a group called La Gaviotta helped him escape Santarilla and is hiding him on a boat in the DC area.
I want to thank Crystal (Swoopes) for allowing me to link to her site and for all her hard work on providing these screen captures. Please check out the rest of her site when you have a minute. She has done a wonderful job!
1. What happened with the chimney? I would so love to hear that story. Atta girl, you don't need the professionals. Move over Bob Villa… or not. 2. Why does he get to be first? Really perturbs the others that he is. 3. So secretarial. And doesn't even try to stick around, Lee has to ask her to stay. 4. You know it’s a good thing she is there. She adds a touch of heart and compassion to the place. What would they do without her? Billy let her down easy. Yeah, great advice. Fran just shakes her head. And he is so lost. Love that he is asking for Billy’s advice in the matter and admits he's no good at that sort of thing. Shows he's growing; never would have admitted that before. Love her face. She knows what's coming; all he has to say is her name. 5. Yes? Couldn’t what? Colleen couldn't what? He think Amanda is too much a respectful lady to tell dirty stories to? 6. Now that's a cheap shot. She goes a long way before she admits she's wrong. A lot like someone else I know. If I were Amanda I'd take it as a compliment. Never give up the ghost. Love her oh and his oh back. 7. What was cut? Something was cut. Guys in the car say big guy from yesterday is back. I seem to recall a yesterday, but have no idea the details. Anyone? 8. Travel log: Angola last year. Hmmm… don't remember this trip last year. Must have been paxed. 9. Why does Colleen have the safe harbor flag? She didn't come in on the boat. 10. Notice his look at Amanda when Colleen says she's seen him chase plenty of geese with less to go on. It’s almost like he wished she didn't hear that, that she didn't know he chases windmills sometimes. 11. So did Vic have another brother besides the one that got killed? Maybe a twin who didn't go into the catering business? Bart sure does look an awful lot like Vic. 12. Whoa. Stop the news conference. When and why did Amanda and Colleen change? Actually Lee too when he appears. All of them were in totally different outfits at the convalescent home. Way to keep her out of trouble btw. 13. Absolutely love all the physical contact in this ep. Not trying to step on spydiva's territory. I'll just hit the highlights. Hands at all times as leaving home (holding till the last possible second), walking in pier area, going to boats, saving Bart. There’s also balance contact, as he is walking on boat he uses her to steady himself. The one I like the best is when she wakes him up as he is going to window she lets her hands slide down his body and they end up on ... shall we say the same place as on the ladder. They linger for a moment and then brush off. Girl is using any excuse to touch that well toned area. Can’t blame her. 14. Um… I assumed they went from dropping Colleen off to the docks. You? Must have stopped somewhere to change back to original clothes though. Weird. 15. Again I apologize for stepping on other's territories. Samhill's in this case. Actually that's the best lines so this actually doesn't qualify. Here is my entry for what has to be the worst piece of dialogue ever written. I feel sorry for BB having to deliver it... Wait. Drop anchor here huh. You’re drifting a little. Ugh!!! Except for the line in Dirty Dancing ... nobody puts Baby in a corner... that line is the worst ever. Mho of course. 16. Yeah. You better take the old salt's advice and take care of that girl. LOL Like that she notices the car is from the convalescent home. So very observant. He must be proud too. 17. What did Lee expect the guy to do? I think he should have anticipated the punch. Love how she pushes him back into the fight. Ok, for future ref…don't hit Lee in the nose. He doesn't take too kindly to that. Punch me in the nose Charlie. Toss. No I’m not alright. Probrecito. Come here... let me kiss it for you. 18. Carl Thomas. Why so formal? He obviously works in the bullpen; they all should know him. Can’t they just call him Carl? Maybe there's 2 Carls? In other meetings does Billy say Fran and Lee Stetson went somewhere? Or Amanda and Fran Desmond went somewhere? I doubt it. 19. Oh, it’s smaller. Love when she can top him. He thinks he's all hot stuff and here she's sailed a larger boat. LOL Billy is too funny. His face after she says hers was bigger, you gonna tell her or shall I? I think he had to have known about her experience. Why else would he assign her unless she knew something about sailing. Lee can't be expected to sail it all by himself. Good one on Billy’s part. 20. I'm going to assume they went home to change. She is just having so much fun besting him. I'll have to be the Capt. and you'll have to be the crew. Good for you girl. Where’s his life jacket? Bad water safety especially after she makes a big deal about hers. Aye aye Capt. King, said with contempt. I really hate when she tops me and she knows it. What’d she say? We should do this more often? Yeah, that oughta be fun. She is just having way too much fun at my expense. 21. I'm king of the world! He looks like he is sailing into the land his army just conquered and he's come to inspect the spoils. 22. He sure does have confidence in their improv skills. Not sure why, they usually stumble over each other. Still… confidence is good. Sounds a bit flimsy. We’ll build on it. That’s it? That’s your great trolling expedition? What did you learn? Aside from tomorrow's departure? You didn't even get their names. At least their improv skills improved. They each let the other speak and cover a given point in the cover. Nicely executed, I’d give them an A. 23. Why didn't they plan on spending the night? Seems like it would be a possibility. They got there late in the afternoon, what did they hope to accomplish before evening? Hope the galley is stocked. Guess they could just go to a restaurant. I'm sure there's one in the area. If you have to ask the question you won't understand the answer. Isn’t that just so Confucius? Sounds like she's heard it before, like his 2 cold people speech. Think she calls her mom? 24. You hope and dream. Sometimes they surprise you, most of the times they don't. You never know… I will forever hope that as we survey the harbor at night the next scene will be spliced back in, so far I'm left broken hearted. This is one of the best scenes and Pax just rips it out. It’s like a kidney punch. They have a snack and talk. He takes the first watch; she lies down, not before blowing out candle. He lights it saying he hates the dark (a story about rats in a prison or hole), she says she can't sleep with it lit and blows it out again. Amanda! And attempts to light it again. She says she'll just wait till he's asleep and blow it out again. He makes a face and gives up. That is my best recollection of how the scene goes. It may be missing something. It’s been awhile. You can see most of the scene in Anke's Amanda video. Which btw, I hope all of you have downloaded. It’s perfect and is a must have. 25. Where did the change of clothes come from? Neither one of them had a bag when they boarded yesterday. The yacht just happen to carry their size clothes? 26. Why did the Cummings come back? Forget something? So you're agents. Big deal. You still need to have a warrant to search the place. Sometimes he forgets the legal side of the cases. 27. Why is his car beeping as he gets in? That has to mean the lights are on or…. The keys were left in the iggy. Come to think of it… how'd his car get there? They sailed in from across the bay. They both drive there, leave his car, go to the other harbor in hers? Smart thinking I guess, just in case they needed a car. 28. Amanda mustn't know that the news conference would hit the news. I wonder how she explains Colleen and her protesting to her mother. She is named and shown. I want to know what they were going to be arrested for, before a federal employee (name hidden to protect any future undercovers? why not hers then?) led them away? Last I heard we still had freedom of speech. And wasn't this news conference yesterday? I recall a night falling. The reporter says at today's hearings. That is one big continuity issue. Obviously they wrote it so the report was to air the day before. Somebody forgot to do a rewrite when they changed the timing. Would also explain the clothes thing. Writer guy... 29. Catch the concern in his voice when Amanda calls Billy? What?! Kinda freaks him out. 5 minutes huh? Didn’t realize the harbor was so close to the agency. Must be using his super speed power again. 30. I know you've been waiting for me to get to this scene. It is always a big topic of discussion. First part, the pen. Where does it come from? She didn't come with it. No purse, no reason to carry a sharpie I can think of and it’s not in her pocket (Jeans are way too tight; we would've seen it). So from whence does it appear? Must be magical. Second part, the incredible throw. She throws the life jacket without looking, backwards and behind herself. Talk about natural aim. It not only doesn't hit the water (They had pulled away.), but it hangs a right in the air to land on the box (Her throw was straight back.). And not only that but it lands message side up in a place where he is sure to see it. Talk about a throwing arm. 31. Hey, who moved the life jacket? They moved the jacket but left the people inside the shed. Not nice. When she throws it, it lands open end to the left. When they find it, the open end is to the right (towards the shed). Prop guy… I think she's on the boat. Great. Of course she is. Where else would she be? Um... when the 3 leave aren't they headed for the end of the dock? The shed was close to the walkway and they are headed the opposite direction. Where they going? 32. Is he deceptively further away? His shots from the water make it look like he's close to the club, but from her view he looks far away. Isn’t she the resourceful one. Trying to first untie the rope with a hook, realizing that would take hours she goes to a signal. With the amount of movement in her arms, he mustn't have tied her too tight. Love how she uses her feet to open the window. There is no way though that the pole is that long. And does it look like an arm is waving it out the window? I can't quite tell. 33. Oh does he have some nice moves (gutter rats I mean his fighting moves). The kick to the guy on the stairs, the somersault into the room and the high dive later. She’s good too, hitting the guy with the paddle and getting his gun. Ain’t she just agent girl commanding him how to lie down? Training coming along nicely. 34. Hey! That’s my stolen boat. Come back here. Nice form, feet curl over head though and cause much too big a splash. Need to work on the entrance into the water. Where do you think the guy goes that Lee tossed in the water? You can see him swimming to the dock. Think he waits around to be arrested? 35. This is Kermit the frog reporting from the gutter. I'm here in an attempt to get an interview with one of the members of this so called gutter, but am having difficulty getting anyone's attention. Seems the object of their obsession and reason for the gutter is currently on screen and he is.. well... wet. Excuse me please. Miss, if I may... your name? SV. Woohoo! Um.. yeah. SV, why are all these women screaming? Woohoo! Can’t you see? Lee is in an open collar. Yeah! His hair is rustled. Alright! And he is wet. Nothing better than that baby. Eeooww!! Well, there you have it. Live from the gutter. This is Kermit the frog. Back to you in the studio. Why I get these choice assuagements is beyond me *grumbling to self*. 36. Why is he driving the jet ski like that? Why the sideways thing by the rocks and the jumping across the waves? Just chase the guy in a straight line, you'll catch up to him faster. And why are the waves that big anyway? It’s just a little boat Harcourt’s in. 37. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the lady sunbather on the boat they pass doesn't look like she's wearing a top. Check it out. Her bottom piece is black. When she sits up I don't see any straps, black or any other color. Wonder how that slipped by the producers. 38. That is just so anticlimactic. He jumps over, hits the guy once, dumps him in the water, grabs him and trolls back. Pax could've cut this chase scene in half and still had time to put the night on the yacht back. Why doesn't Lee pull him all the way into the boat? He trying to humiliate him? Such a stern look as he trolls back too. 39. See her small smile as she anticipates his request? She drops it before he sees it to act surprised. She can read him so well. He almost looks scared when he answers he just might need some help. I think he surprised himself by asking. Like the big smiles each of them have when she accepts. 40. Doesn’t the sun set in the west and rise in east? How do we have a sunset over the ocean here? Maybe my logistics are messed up, but I wouldn't think this shot possible in D.C. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I know so very little about East Coast geography. Also, must be taking the longest route possible. Before they just crossed the bay, now they appear to be far out in the ocean.
