A married couple, who are Russian emigrants, are kidnapped by the Soviets as a ploy to use their son, a computer whiz, to infiltrate government secrets. The boy, Alexi, is stealing computer codes to pay for his parents' freedom. Lee is assigned to “babysit” Alexi and ends up pawning off the kid on Amanda. Lee and Amanda must rescue his parents in order to prevent the infiltration by the Soviets.

1. First official sighting of the taco/hotdog/burger stand. It’s the multi-use greasy spoon. 2. You go girl. Just cause he's super spy doesn't mean he can't have polite phone manners. Also love the little snip about his girlfriend's ages. LOL 3. Can you believe Lee actually bought that sob story Alexi was throwing out. What a softy. 4. Think the writers forgot later on that they had established his age at his parent's death to be 4 in this ep? 5. Just on that comparison alone (parents’ death, army uncle vs guy shot) I still think Lee wins for terrible childhood. It’s not till later on that we learn more about his childhood and how unemotional it was. Even after that knowledge still think Lee wins (if win is the right word). 6. Just how old do these guys think he is? Billy with the lollipop and Lee with the panda bear. Can certainly tell they haven't hung out with a 12-year-old boy in a long time. Don’t get me wrong. I'd go for the panda bear too. 7. Count the number of doors in Billy’s office. 1. Door from bullpen 2. Door behind sitting Billy (with lollipop) 3. Door behind him and Fran by desk. I know I have never seen the third one, second one appears again in 4th season. Where it went in between I don't know. Musical doors anyone? 8. Is there a paxed scene between the office and the store? There is isn't there. I seem to remember Amanda coming in all cheery and Lee asking if she's always that cheery, her saying he mustn't be a morning person, looking around seeing the messy room and also looking in the fridge and seeing only moldy stuff, even tossing some cheese. It also explains Amanda and Alexi's familiarity with each other and time jump from the agency to the store. Darn cutters. If there isn't then… time guy… Lee says it’s midnight when they leave, yet it’s busy morning when they arrive at the store. Get stuck in traffic? 9. I think it’s time for a new Porsche. Lee has to grip the handle extra tight to shut his door and Alexi has to try a couple of times before his will close. Poor car. 10. Can I tell you my fav lines please? I heard those that said no. Better watch it. 1. No I'll shoot you. You wouldn't shoot me. I tell ya kid, I'm a killer. 2. Really? Yes Amanda, danger, excitement, intrigue. Oh shut up. (Love his eyes in that quote.) 3. Don’t bite me. Just hold still. (Could be a big time gutter interpretation there). 4. Of course the line, Thanks for listening. :) 11. If he doesn't have time to talk now why did he call her? And his reaction to her acceptance of having Alexi stay is priceless. He obviously was expecting a challenge from her on that. Does get in another nice little jab… his place being a hellhole. Love 1st season Amanda. 12. Isn't she just the nurturing mother? Do you remember in Peter Pan…- how her eyes look upward and she talks in a whispery high voice. You talk to little kids a lot don’t ya?… you should get out more. LOL True. Now, she pours on the nurturing. Grabs his head, turns him to face her, drops her voice and gets stern in what she expects, only to show softness again with the click of his chin. And the compliment she receives must send her sky high. Tougher than the fed with the moldy cheese. 13. How does she know to use that accent when she is at the bar? And how did she know what bar? When he called he never said where he was and he said it without an accent. Great pick up on her part though. Especially when she adds the part about mother moving in. And this has to be the ad lib of all ad libs. What? What do I mean? It’s been reported that the line "and frankly Ricky Joe, sex with you has always been a major disappointment." was an ad lib by Kate. That is too funny if it was. Great job BB did staying in character and not busting out laughing. Poor guy having to come up with the next line though. 14. Man is Alexi wrong. Incompatible indeed. He doesn't get an invitation to the public wedding if they ever come clean. 15. Ok Pax I understand the need to cut the show to ribbons just so you can get those precious commercials in, but do you have to be so obvious about it. Clearly after Lee confirms he is talking from personal experience he was going to say something else. How much longer could it have been? 10 seconds? I know it wasn't important; something to do with her rearranging his record collection. What harm could it have done for him to just finish the scene? 16. How come the bad guys are allowed in the back rooms of the bar? They walk back there like they own the place. If I was an employee and saw 3 men, who I only know as customers, go in the storage room I'd ask them what they were doing in back? Actually, I did do that several times when I worked retail. 17. I'm sorry. Did Fran or Billy say something? I thought I saw them in the room, but didn't hear anything. I was distracted. Dolphin alert! Dolphin alert! He doesn't have to be wet to count does he? All my senses it seems were focused on that tan chest, those pecs, that flat belly, the six pac. Mm- mm-mm Oh… give me a sec. That shot they have to open the scene is way beyond words. It is definitely one for our gutter wall. SilverVette, do you have the camera? It’s a good thing humans can go longer than 45 seconds without breathing. First season Lee's body is the best. So tan, so defined, so dolphinesq. Mmmm.... just thinking about it now gives me goosebumps. 18. Ok, better. So, what's with all the door slamming? As she is trusting him you can hear several doors being opened and shut. And why would he leave the patio doors open? Awfully bad sneak out job. 19. Ain't she a rainy day friend. Goes from describing him as the country's top agent to perfectly good question. 20. Note the level of trust she has for Lee. How many of you would let a semi-stranger that close to you? I know it’s being done to untie themselves, but she doesn't even have the slightest hesitation. Yes, I know it’s also good-looking Lee, still… they are almost closer here than they get when they have their near-miss kisses. 21. What is the guy? The hulk? Watch him break through the door and push over the video game. Come on, get real. How does he get through the door anyway? I saw no ax or hatchet. And how does Lee hear her cry over all the noise? Super hearing I guess. 22. Motorcycle. I don't understand the motorcycle. It’s a ride in the video arcade! How can it be used in the chase scene? If it’s real (a prize some have thought), then why does it have gas in it? It’s being showcased in a video arcade! Just don't understand. 23. Does the chase scene seem weird to you? So Lee gets in front of the car. What's that supposed to do? I don't think he'd be much of a block to a car. He could just turn off at any time and Lee wouldn't know it. Can anyone help with location? Where is Lee when he wipes out in relation to the car? He looks far away, but is able to get to the car in steps. Love the slow motion flying squirrel though. And his anti-scruff spray must be working, clothes come out perfect. 24. Casting call. I'm sending out a casting call. Will anyone answer it? Look, Martha. She's doing it again, talking nonsensical. These big city girls sure are confusing. Ok, ok, I'll explain. We all know that Kate tore her ligaments in her right ankle and had to wear a cast for several weeks. We also know that it is only shown and explained in one ep (Gift Horse), but can be spied out in others. Here is the first ep it can be spied out in. Ya gotta be quick on that freeze frame. As Amanda gets out of the car and drops to the ground watch her leg. You can see a flash of her foot. Freeze it there. You should be able to see the protective pad around her foot. You can see her sock and a black band that goes across her foot. Wait, I can see Amanda running earlier in the night and no cast then. How do you explain that C.Q.? 2 ways. Running part was shot before she hurt herself or they used a stand in (except for coming off front porch after Alexi leaves the shots are from the back). You can also detect a slight limp when ordered to return to the car (though you'd need prior knowledge to spot that). Satisfied? 25. They sure do know how to push each other's buttons. Like I said, the top… no, no, no. no. Don't say it. Ok. ok, say it. Hmm? Say it. Uh huh. Perfect. 26. Is Peppertree Mall real? Anyone? Notice the smile she gets when Dean is describing the case and how she's not listening to him. Wonder what she's thinking about. Shouldn't be that hard to figure out. And then there are Lee's actions. Leaving the panda bear speaks volumes. After all her quote was "You could certainly buy my affections with this fella." What does that say when he gives her the bear? Something brewing deep inside? I really like how he waits to see her reaction too. That also speaks volumes.
